Due to new business standards, Bankserv required a new layout and access control for their IT setup.

Strategy & approach

Wires & Wireless a member of the AGERA Group was commissioned to upgrade the physical network and cross connect network at Bankserv Africa Selby and Randburg.

 The requirements were to deploy a new 10 GIG copper and Fibre Network with overhead raceway infrastructure to provide a more efficient way of delivering high-speed connectivity to the Data Centre racks. 

A total of 5000 x 10GIG CommScope Krone data connections and 5000 OM3 10 GIG fibre connections were installed across the Data Centre’s during this upgrade.
