As part of a major office renovation in Johannesburg, the organisation sought to create a modern workplace environment capable of supporting hybrid work, executive engagement, international collaboration, and future digital transformation initiatives.

Wires & Wireless, proud member of the Agera Group, was engaged to design and deploy an integrated digital workplace transformation that would combine intelligent collaboration technologies with a high-performance digital infrastructure foundation.

Rather than approaching the project as a traditional audio-visual deployment, we adopted a holistic digital workplace transformation strategy. The solution was built around two critical pillars:

  • 10 Gigabit-ready network infrastructure
  • Enhanced Power-over-Ethernet capabilities
  • Infrastructure supporting unified communications and video conferencing
  • Connectivity for wireless networking and IP telephony
  • Integration readiness for security and building management systems
  • Scalability for future smart workplace technologies

This enterprise-grade foundation provides the performance, reliability, and flexibility required for ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Data Centre Modernisation

The project also included the deployment of Schneider Electric APC data centre infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and resilience.
